The Dinaric Alps are a mountain range that stretch along the coast of the Adriatic Sea, through the Balkan countries. A trail that crosses through the range is picking up popularity.Via Dinarica, as it is called, stretches from Slovenia in the north to Albania in the south, and crosses 7 countries. It is 1,260 km from end to end, and takes about 4 months to complete. It is also advertised as an excellent introduction to Balkan culture.
